After the February 5, 2008 tornado,
diligent effort was given to brace and secure the remaining structure of
Wynnewood. A durable, temporary roof was also installed. The artifacts
were initially moved to a warehouse generously provided by Reggie Mudd.
The artifacts have since been moved to climate controlled storage units.

This brings us to the present good
news, bad news, and then good news. First, as of January 6, 2009, "the
process has started." The "process" consists of a series of three
architectural drawings which span 150 days. Approval takes one week.
Then a two step bidding process begins which spans 150 days. Review and
approval takes two weeks. The bad news is that if our understanding of
this information is correct and our math is correct, it will be December
before reconstruction begins. The good news is,
"The process has started."
